TFC server on RedHat

A m8 of is having this problem running a tfc server on redhat "when the systems boots the daemon that runs the half-life server hangs the entire system and it needs a hard reboot" Can anyone one help? Thx anyway

We think we got it sorted now, its something to do with the kernal he has.
