    Territorial? Moi?

    Hmmm-

    Personal Interests
    Politics
    Work
    Feedback
    IRC
    Recycle Bin
    Subscribers
    The Cuckoo's nest
    Mythology
    Film Reviews
    Scifi/Fantasy (all of them....)
    Computers
    Broadband
    Wireless
    Operating Systems Mac
    Operating Systems PC
    Operating Systems Unix
    Security
    Tweaking/Modding
A few hosted Forums, which will remain nameless
    Rec After Hours
Sci - Most of the Forum
For Sale / Bargains / Wanted

So- I do tend to avoid certain forums, but hop around quite a bit. Territorial? Hmmmm- don't really think so.

I just use the search page. Flick through the new posts, look at any topic that may be interesting, keep an eye on anything I've already posted in.

Ditto that but spend most time bouncing between Motors, Soccer and Politics.

    Mike.

Soccer and Politics mostly and anything else that looks interesting.

It's interesting to see how many people mentioned Politics but hardly if ever post there. People should post feel free to join the discussions.

I like to avoid all boards where I'm likely to act like a muppet, thus drawing the wrath of ecksor, so none of the following for me: After Hours (with the exception of an occassional poking-head-in-the-door moment like now), Television (24 & Smallville threads an exception), Feedback (or anything else under admin really), Counter Strike, Half Life - usually just stick to Bargain Alerts, DCU, Fitness, Slydice Specials as I'm less likely to do something stupid there - means I don't see some of the entertaining leet posters like Smiles, WWM, MAJD or eth0_ for instance though...

are on my subbed, I'll check PI for amusements sake occasionally and religiously refresh new posts for interesting topics, though as time has gone on I look at fewer and fewer fora. I rarelt look in slydice, it's on the subbed for convenience of access as it doesn't appear on drop downs being a private forum n all

    According to my subbed list...
    Art/Anim/Photo
Cake/Pie (actually I never go there, so.... o.O)
    CTYI
    Dublin City
    English
    Fashion/Appearance
    Gaeilge (Irish)
    Junior Cert
    Literature
    Photo Challenge
    Photoshoppage
    Tattoos/Piercings

I think I'm gonna expand my horizons, though... occasionally dip into other forums like some of the music ones, personal issues, after hours (evidently), philosophy, creative writing, whatever really.

I have a large subbed list, but rarely read any other boards.

I use http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/subbed.php?number=200&onlynew=yes&x=11&y=10 as my main (only) interface to boards, which makes having a lot of subbed boards tolerable.

As for territorial / cliquey - oh yeah - big time. Certain people follow each other around, giving each other reach-arounds.
