Gmail is google's email service which offers 1Gig free storage, and stores the messages in a more convenient manner. It requires an invite to open an account. Account holders get these invites to offer to whomever they wish. We're all internet nerds with no real friends, so we just pas them along here

Amazing that people are still buying these invites off ebay, they are as common as muck these days! And MrNuked, I'd be too embarrassed to offer my real friends a gmail invite... that is the ultimate nerdy thing to do.

gmail invites are a con.
they want to create desire and make them appear as rare, and to get one u are somehow lucky.
the truth is everyone who wants gmail has gmail.
of course gmail is better/more user friendly than yahoo/ hotmail etc .
