    Oo-er, pardon me vicar! :D

I have anosmia and all perfumes/aftershaves/industrial cleaning products smell identical to me. I've no concept of what constitutes a masculine or a feminine perfume. If you're a woman, do you buy a perfume whose smell you like or that you think guys will like, and vice versa?

    I couldn't put the pole up....but i tried ;)
    :D

I think a bit of both..obviously the person wearing it would want to like it....but you also wear it so other people like it :p Hence the slapping it on before a night out! ;)

I liked Joop!, but everyone else hates it (or at lest all my friends do), so i stopped wearing it.... (Yea, cause that's the reason i wasn't pulling! lol)

I don't use aftershave. I use shaving cream but that's it. And yes I use deodorant (unperfumed).

women's perfume - def DKNY (the original one) fruity and yummy, I wear it all the time.
men's aftershave - I generally think that men wear too much of the stuff and some of it's really overbearing; much prefer that freshly washed "man" smell....mmmm......

I like Tommy Hilfiger, and also have a bottle of Davidoff Echo. Echo is nice too, though I prefer Tommy!

Mademoiselle by Chanel on girls, Quality!

Personally i vary between Hugo Boss that comes in the grey box, the one in the green and red box, CK Be and Ralph Lauren. Bit of Fahrenheit now and then (jus to be mad) but i dont really like it much

I'm using Mont Blanc at the moment. It's pretty cool as it's good, yet not too common. My girlfriend got me a bottle for my birthday... which was big points for her as my last girlfriend got me a bottle of Old Spice for xmas 2003.... jesus.. that's what a 5 year old kid gets his dad...

I'm currently using Chanel Allure Homme. Very pleasant (other than the price).....

For women- anything with coconut oil drives me crazy......

I'm female and dislike a lot of what's been posted here:(

    My recommendations for men:
1)The Chanel one in the black bottle but I'd expect the other Chanel ones to be nice too.

    2) Armani Code again in a black bottle, very sexy

    3) Ysl Kouros in a white bottle

All that Burberry, Lacoste, CoolWater is chavvy in my opinion.

Strictly no Old Spice or Lynx, get Nivea men deodorant instead and remember that the ladies should be close enough to be kissing you before they smell it at all.

    Recommendations for ladies:

    1) Clarins Eau Dynamistique-smells extremely clean

    2) Jo Malone Lime, Basil, Mandain, again clean and fresh smelling.

I generally find men don't like perfume on women much.

Its more the case that a little goes a long way.......
There is no need to smell as though you have fallen into a vat of perfume.......

Lynx Phoenix is the job. I get more compliments using it than most aftershaves...

I like to eat a pound of garlic, spit in a bowl, and then smear the odorous saliva into my armpits for 30 - 40 minutes. Never been bitten by a mosquito. Not once.

    Fahrenheit Dior

Different fragrances suit different people (and ages). Also important is whether it is day-time or night-time and winter/summer. I've never understood people with just the one or 2 bottles. Just looking at everything in my cabinet at the moment:

    Hugo Boss Soul (Winter days)
    Perry Ellis Reserve (Winter days)
Cool Water (Cool Water is one of those scents that can be worn anytime, both summer and winter)
CK Truth (Summer Days and nights)
    CK Eternity Summer (Summer days)
Chanel Egoiste Platinum (Summer/Winter nights - turns the ladies into putty:))
    Polo Sport (Summer days)
Aqua di Gio (Summer days and nights)
Bvlgari Extreme (Summer/Winter nights - the ladies don't stand a chance!)
Boss #6 (Days - both summer and winter)
CK One (Summer days - nice but haven't worn it in ages. Was far too common a while back)
Tommy Hilfiger (Days - both summer and winter)
Pierre Cardin (Never wear it. A nice scent but more for older men (reminds me of my dad!))

That's just what I have at the moment. There's a lot more fragrance's out there that I have used (and will again). Other favorites include Ultramarine Insense, Armani Code, Armani He, CK Contradiction - the list could go on...

L'homme de Couer is one of my fave for the evenings.
I also like a few of the Creed fragrances, like silver water mountain, erolfa and green irish tweed.
Clive Christian's No. 1 for men and also his x for men are very very nice fragrances.

My fave women's perfume is Boi de Paradis, very nice :)
