Sheana Keane is her name and yes she is lovely, I think Bláthnaid is nice too.

Sheana's biography says that before she married:

"She worked as a Change Management Consultant with Andersen Consulting travelling all over the US and UK helping corporate professionals turn their lives around before going to work with RTE as a researcher with the programme "Wanderlust"."

I'm not sure what the hell that entails, I really don't, but in my twisted imagination that equates with spending countless nights on the road in hotels in the Americian mid-west and British midlands, with googles of opportunity for one night stands with travelling businessmen. :rolleyes:

As for Emma Ledden, this never got much publicity in Ireland, but she actually got the 'live and Kicking' gig on BBC1 on saturday mornings in 1999. It was seen as the biggest job in UK TV for a woman under 30 and everyone, and I mean everyone, in London wanted it.

Zoe Ball had it before her and it was seen as the gateway to stardom on UK evening TV. Unfortunately, they were up against Ant and Dec. Ratings suffered a catastrophic drop and you could see the tension every week on her face, it was painful to watch. She was fired and the show was scrapped. She came back to Ireland and was working part time for a local radio station, not sure what she is up to now. Thankfully, the local press were either too kind or too clueless to pick up on what had one of the most dramatic collapses in a career.

Anyway, I hope she bounces back in whatever she decides to do in the future.
