Damn u got there before me goose! i was gonna say that the whole fish thing really puts the name 'i am man' to the test hehe!

As for nemo, that was ok! but i dont like to swim in the sea either, the thought of a fish rubbing against me, ughhhh! Although i know the fish is probably as afraid of me as i am of it.... if not more afraid hehe!!

I have a pretty grim fear of anyone eating ketchup so can really sympathise with that poor girl  Cannot stand the stuff - anyone eating it near me is liable to have me heaving and wretching in a matter of seconds.

I have problem with ketchup too, not so much a fear as something I have to avoid thinking about or the stomach starts churning.

I realized recently where this comes from - being force fed ketchup mixed with mash in a disgusting pink blob as a kid . Anyone sympathize?

cant sympathise otron! Hate to admit that i actually liked it! And always got slagged for it! Although i wasnt one of these kids who totally plastered their dinner in ketchup... just enough! And i would make little pies, hehe!

Samo, my mates and I were once making a movie for a laugh in a friends garden. For y grand death scene, a ketchup and water solution was poured all over my face to represent blood. Just thught you'd like to know!
My irrational fear is birthday cards that play a tune when you open them. They terrify me; its so unnatural that a card would make noise! I'm glad my three year stint in a newsagent is finally over.

    Hey 'i am man'

just out of curiosity, have u never ever eaten fish? as a kid even?

I remember being force fed fish fingers by my mum as a kid, they dont even constitute fish, cos they are just crap! After about a year of leaving them behind on my dinner plate, i think she got the hint!

But the funny part is my little bro and sis followed suit, and now they refuse to eat fish too! Success, haha!! :-)

my fear is the sea... scares the bejaysus out of me....i can swim in it to a certain degree but on windy days i cant look at it without gettin overcome with fear..strange theres no cause for it hence irrational fear i suppose

I LOVE the water and the sea, but I hate wading in shallow water, because when I was a kid, I stepped on one of these while swimming in Kerry. It really was amazingly painful, but fortunately my parents knew exactly what to do (soak my foot in dangerously hot water). If my feet touch anything in the water, I freak out. I'll get over it..someday..

One of my friends is deathly afraid of oranges, she hates them with a passion.

needles send me ito a panic if theyre going to be put anywhere near my inner elbow.
nearly punched out a woman doctor once when she said "that wasent so bad was it" and i looked around to find that she had only meant the needle going in wasent to bad and the f**king thing was still in my arm. irrational panic gripped me and i was about a second from clocking her and making a run for it, i feel freaked out even typing this and im going to have to think about something else for a while

I am absolutely freaked out by yoghurt. I know that's a bit weird but I hate watching people eating it and seeing people DRINK Yops just makes me retch and feel really naseous. :(

I am also in the spider hating camp.....once in the States on a afamily holiday I had a spider the size of my hand in my room, I almost died! I had originally thought it was a mouse it was so big! Felt slightly gratified when I got my Dad to remove it and he said, "That is a big spider!"

I'm scared of heights...Any time I've tried rock climbing I've had to come down after less than 20 feet because I just freeze. Even in work I try and avoid having to go on ladders as much as possible.
And for an absolutely daft and irrrational fear: When I was about 10 I used to be scared of the automatic-locking rooms on Crystal Maze.

Needles aren't fun. Spiders are evil bastards, snakes are the most terrifying things ever. Death is a constant worry. Cancer is terrifying. Large groups of people always freaks me out lots. Big wide open spaces. The world running out of oil. GW. Oh also ghosts (which I dont even believe in.) My girlfriend and her love of stories involving "he lost a testicle when..." (Hi honey! :) )

    It goes on like this...

However I have a giant duvet that makes it all ok for a bit!
