    Agent is correct.

All I have left are (and I don't have it here in front of me so i don't know the numbers)

'Golfers of this standard may be disappointed wuth a par round'(4)

'Somebody who has a shot at goal in soccer, may, in slang terms, be said to have ......' ( 1,4)

    Any ideas

Have 8-9 left and haven't got either of these:

    - 'Golfers of this standard may be disappointed wuth a par round'(4)
    - 'Somebody who has a shot at goal in soccer, may, in slang terms, be said to have ......' ( 1,4)

Will re-post if I get them.

    stuck on those two also.
I'd say the indo will print it again this sunday with any incorrect clues etc.
Anyone get the one with the irishman who won world titles in 72 an 87.
Higgins didn't win it in 87 but i'd say the meant 82 which was the year he did win it in!!!

Its the answer, its a Dublin expression if that helps.

Higgins is the answer its just a typo

and Plus fits so go with it.

    Dont question perfection :)

I agree on the typo theory, it happened last year also

    PLUS - probable answer

A GING - not convinced about that one yet, do you have any link to where it may be used in conversation\reporting etc ???? :)

probable? It IS the answer, admit it, I'm right :)

Dunno, tough ask that, but sure what else fits :)

While "Plus" may be the answer, its not correct. A golfer who has a plus handicap should be delighted with a par round. A golfer with a minus handicap (i.e. -1, -2 etc.) might not be happy with a par round.

Could the answer be "pros"? (I dont have the crossword, so dont know if the L and U are definities or not).

A plus golfer has to ADD shots to his score, hence he would be unhappy with a par round.
