Is Brendan O'Carroll funny?

It seems this scrotum-faced Dub pav has another video out. Personally, I would rather have a nail shoved into my jap's eye than watch that rat-faced scumbag trying to be funny.
But there seems to be an audience for his 'humour'. His last video outsold a 'The Office' DVD that was released around the same time. Indeed, I am certain his new video will sell bucketloads.

So cast your vote. If you find Brendan funny, tell us why. If you don't, tell us how you'd like to see him die.

ive been thinking about this too lately... used to have an old video of his, when he played somewhere in cork.. and I loved it when I was younger. I watched it the weekend before last and... I dunno.

No. I went to see one of his shows once and there wasn't one iota of original material there. I was muttering "billy connolly" and "chubby brown" and suchlike to myself the whole way through. It was tortuous.

it's oul one comedy isn't it....kinda like the Daniel O Donnell of funnymen.

And he's totally crap at acting in Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere.

Got free tickets for his show years ago. 1.5 hrs. long, and I laughed twice.

He is so not funny its ehm, just ehm, not funny. Got free tickets to a Mrs Brown Sucks Ass show a few years back and left in the middle of the first act, I actually sprained my cringe muscle.

i chose neither.

I laughed at some of his early stuff. When he spoke about his trips to the UK and the US. But he just repeats and repeats. He's lost it for me. He was decent in the Van though..I always laugh at the way he said "What about a mister whippy?"

I loved the "How's yer snowballs" tape when i had it years ago, but otherwise he's pretty weak. As for the Mrs Brown character, well the less said about that the better, except maybe comedy vortex and arse puckeringly unfunny in overdrive.

Havn't seen the videos but went to see him live a couple of years ago, my face was sore from laughing so much!

Found him a lot funnier than Pat Short who i went to see the following year.

Brendan O' Carroll was funny when I was in secondary school. Then I grew up and realised that he's nothing but a rascist, homophobic, second-rate hack who plagiarises most of his material. And that's still my opinion of him tbh.

Well, someone should rip out his vocal chords so he stops talking so much crap, then he might bleed to death, or choke on his blood, or die because he can't breathe through is ripped throat.

Haven't seen or heard any of his stuff in over 10 years, I can't remember anything about it... which, if this thread is anything to go by, is probably a good thing
