Wouldnt europe conflict with that?

The speed of light is absolute.
Fire a gun from a moving vehicle and the velocity of the bullet is combined with the speed of the vehicle.

"Fire" a torch from a moving vehicle and the light beam still moves at the same speed had the vehicle been motionless.

So, if I kick a football out the front of a spaceship travelling at the speed of light, it will travel forward, faster that light. But I won't be able to see it because it's dark?

Playing cards were originally made to represent the Year:
    52 cards = 52 weeks a year
    4 suites = 4 seasons
13 cards per suite = 13 weeks per season
two colours (red cards & black cards) = Night and day.

At one time, the king of hearts represented Charlemagne, the king of Diamonds was Julius Caesar, the king of clubs was Alexander the Great and the king of spades was King David.

    fascinating :D

I have no idea I'm not a physicist thingy magick but the little bits I do know... say the closer u travel at the speed of the the slower times gets and also if u hit the speed of light yur mass becomes infinite.,.. woooooo.... weird isn't it but my poor brain can't even begin to comprehend those kind of things.... where Einstein when u need him?

In med-evil times they found that people were re-awakening from the dead after finding scratch marks on the inside of coffins. From then on string was then tied to the deceased's hand leading out of the ground to a bell hanging from a tree. If they awoke to find themselves buried they could pull on the string and help would be called; thus the expression 'Saved by the Bell' was formed.

If I remember right, Europe is only part of the Eurasian continent, hense, it is one big lump of land.

As the theory goes, no matter how hard you kick the football it won't go forward, come to think of it you wouldn't even be able to move your foot forward to kick it in the first place. You'd be completly unable to move forward in any way, you probably wouldn't mind that too much though, you'd be more worried about the fact that your blood could only move towards the back of your body and not be able to come back to the front.

Someone asked what the difference was between a herb and a spice.
Herbs largely grow in temperate climates and spices largely grow in tropical climates.
So parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme (thanks Simon and Garfunkel) are herbs, while pepper, chilli, cumin and lemongrass are spices.

There's probably some sort of overlap, but that's a pretty good rule of thumb
