I have recently purchased an ibook and among the quite significant number of things I haven't quite figured out for it yet is how to set up my iol broadband connection on it. I have 2 adsl modems available to me (zyxel prestige 600 series and zyxel prestige 630) are either of these compatible with a mac? If they are could someone give me a short expaination on how to set up the connection, thanks.

Moved this over to the mac forum, you'll probably get a better response here.

Go for the one that uses ethernet if possible, it'll be easier and better,

630 is USB 600 series may be ethernet (ask IOL ?)

Yes theres mac drivers for the 630 on the zyxel site.. ethernet one will not need drivers.

If the 630 is the little blue box (I threw my own out a long time ago) then the drivers will only work with Jaguar (10.2), not Panther, unfortunately.

Yeah I downloaded and installed them and they don't seem to work. It says modem available but I don't get any indication of line status or anything.
