    jeez where to start.....
    google might be a good place.
    other than that:
    windows - proprietry, kludgy, unstable, ubiquitous, generally single user per box
    unix - several different flavours (eg linux, solaris, bsd), tends to be more robust, used more as a powerhouse os in a server type installation - multi user from the ground up.
    mac - depends on what version you're talking about - OSX is unix-based, before that I don't really know too much.
    Your question is an open ended one with a lot of religious/political sentiment attached...
