Am I the only person that loves those ads? It's the guy's psychotic grin that makes them work...

They are very good. Wonder how they got the idea of using a Mafioso to advertise Banks?? Maybe a simialr ad ran in YankLand.

Oh man, I ****ing hate these ads. Something about the way that guy says "Poimanent" makes me want strip naked and run down the street screaming and writhing.

He has, at best, a third rate charcter in The Sopranos, and before that I doubt he got any work except for cheesy mafia films.

The brilliant Frank Vincent, he's class, you people have no clue.
He was in Casino and Goodfellas you peasants.

Looking at his profile on IMDB, hes been in Goodfellas and Casino....and a whole heap load of B rate mafioso films.

    And GTA.

his character was fairly major in the last series.

Aye, but it was just major because thats the way the story went. I'm just saying that I doubt TSB raked out the dough to get him in the add.

I'd say he got a nice bit for it, he is hardly gonna fly across the atlantic for minimum wage!
The Sopranos is alot bigger in the states then it is here and when you're in something big in the states you command a large appearence fee no matter if its india or IRELAND!

This ad confirms the following equation...

    Irish Banks = Gangsters.

    That is all.

The ads could easily be shot in the US ;)

There's no cold water in the US. None.

And they'd have to ship over three actors for the mother-in-law ad. ;)

You like your movies I see, Bet you think Al Pacino is great in Once Upon a Time In America and Scorpio ??????.

The guy in Snatch is Dennis Farina and the guy in TWO days in the valley is Danny Aiello. :)

I liked Robin Redford in Sundance Cassidy and the Butch Kid, if that's any help.

Denis Farina, Danny Aiello and the Poimenent TSB bloke are all angry, white-haired guineas in loose-fitting shirts and shiny slacks who threaten to stick pencils up people's noses in films, so you'll have to excuse my confusion!

I don't know if your being sarcastic about the cold water or not????

But emmmm could he just be standing in front of a blue screen????

I mean he has no interaction with the other people in the ads.
