wednsday night

    Is the 11:30 closing time across the board on a wednsday night, or are there late bars?
    Anyone know of any in dublin that are worth going to? We have a college function coming up on a wednsday night soon, so I want to be prepared!

    you would be correct, 11:30.
    but night clubs have special licences,
    not too sure about late bars

    Yeah, 11:30 - so make sure you drink hard before that time. Perhaps order 3 pints at last orders. :rolleyes:

    I believe the Turks Head opens late, as does Isoldes Tower down the road.. I'm sure there are others.

    Most clubs would stay open till 2:30. Dorans, q-bar, doyles stay open too I think.

    well its the launch of our college newspaper so I think I'm entitled to!

    The launch is on early, then we're going ice skating, so by the time we get out town may be closed, which would be a bit of a crappy ending to the night. I'm thinking that we might just get a cheap hotel room somewhere and drink in the residents bar!! :D we shall see.
