That's surprisingly hard. Strangely, New England gets quite easy because it's just like a jigsaw but most of the dumbass, sorry homeland, sorry midwestern states are tricky enough!

south dakota is called so as the 'south' part of the name is in relation to the other state with a similar name.. as in 'north' dakota..

the same applies to virginia and 'west' virginia.. meaning west of virginia...

north carolina and south carolina... is there a pattern emerging here???

I had a blank map and Utah to place, got to within a few mm of it. Which is closer than I ever want to be.

109/111 in Europe. I took a 50/50 on Belarus and Slovenia and was sure I was wrong on both. Idiot.
