Yep, looks like that spam vote campaign worked (for a while anyway), according to the Irish Times today (p. 7), Ronnie got over 57,000 votes to make him the most influential person of the 20th Century

Unfortunately the spoilsports at Time have disqualified him, so looks like some bast like Einstein or Hitler that no-one's ever heard of will be getting the honours
