Where can I find my "expanded use number"

Trying to make a payment with PAYPAL. I am refused everytime because i do not have an "expanded use number" what the f^*k is that? It said it appears on your bank statement. It did not on mine. Can anyone help?

I may be wrong here so please no abuse! I take it you're playing directly from your bank account and not your credit card. If you have been trying to use your 8 digit bank acc. no. the problem is that this is not internationally recognised, and you need to put an IBAN extension on it. This site will give you the info you need.
