CNET wireless drivers?

    Anyone know if there are Linux drivers available for CNET wireless cards?

    The 2 cards I have in particular are the CWP-854 (PCI) and the CWC-854 (cardbus).

    Google can't find anything about them, which is not a good sign. Stick them into your PC/laptop and run lspci - it might give you a clue about the chipset.

    Alternatively, you could try using the Windoze drivers with ndiswrapper.

    I got a CNET CNWL-311 working fine under Mandrake 10, using the drivers from http://sourceforge.net/projects/rt2400 - the cards have the rt2400 chipset that a company called Minitar have developed a linux driver for (now being developed through sourceforge). Also, googling "rt100 linux" should throw up a few 'how-to's on installation etc.

    I'm not sure if these will work for your cards (i.e. they're specifically for 802.11b - whereas yours might be the 802.11g type) - but it may be a good starting point in your search.
