things to do in dublin

    I now find I have a lot more time on my hands after 5 years in dublin I seem to have nothing to do in the evrnings, what is there to do in Dublin apart from drinking and the cinema...

    Write about your five years experiance in Dublin.

    I dunno paddyc, I'm in pretty much the same boat. Too lazy to go take up something so no-one but myself to blame. I'm gettin pretty handy at being a tv-guide though!

    You could do any of the following:

    - Take a guided tour, sometimes they're fun & you learn stuff u didn't know before
    - Go to gigs; comedy, small venue shows etc etc
    - Go to the theatre
    - Create a 'magical mystery tour' for yourself??!!!?? (someone suggested this to me, so I'm re-suggesting it - don't ask how, cos I've no idea??!!!??)
    - Shoot your own porn movie & send it to Ron Jeremy before he comes here (see other related thread in 'After Hours')
    - Go to Mass in a random church regardless of religion (well - no one suggested it!!!!)
    - Attend an A.A./D.U.A. meeting just for the laugh
    - Sleep rough for a night for a different perspective on your own life

    You could head out to the nearest car park with a few leather jackets or laptop and a crate of milk cartons and see if you can shift them. I believe its a very lucrative sideline. If that's not your bag you could head over to Dunsink and landscape a golf course or throw a few petrol bombs. If that's not exciting enough for you head into Temple Bar and get the living daylights kicked out of yourself. ;)
