Where's He gone? Is He on his holidays?

Sure leave Him alone. His head must be wrecked.

And God disappeared in a puff of paradoxical logic. (and smoke).

So God will never have originally existed in the first (or last) place, due to the recursive nature of existentialism.

    Q.E.D.

(Thats as good a logical proof that God doesn't exist as any I've heard that he (or she) does)
That has to be the single worst bastardisation of Hitchhikers I've ever read...

My thoughts exactly. What does Q.E.D. mean?

A latin abbreviation for quod erat demonstrandum. It means "which was to be shown" in english. It is used at the end of a proof to show that the proof has been completed.

    Thankies :D

Godzilla is greater than lizards which makes it Godlike and greater than God having additional lizard powers (radioactive firebreath etc.) Therefore more powerful that God, therefore creator of the universe and should be worshipped accordingly. Kneel.

I hate that book. I hate that quote and I hate the way so many people use it as the definitive proof that God doesn't exist.

When is zealoutry going to be made a capital crime? Because until people give up their beliefs in fairy tales we never stand a chance of evolving to a higher level.

No significant evolution has occurred in the time since religion was invented.

Development, on the other hand has been very much driven by religion and Gods alleged will that all heretics be punished.

Development has been driven by religeon?

Yeah, that'd explain the dark ages then...

What 'significant' and measurable evolution to you expect to occur in the space of 2000 years (taking christianity as the example), given that according to most estimates we diversified from apes between 3 and 8 million years ago?

"Gawdammit, i'm finally able to change channels with my newly evolved forehead mounted infra red gun, and now people want to watch tv on their computers."

Maybe the primates started praying to everything that didn't eat them

You have to admit, it's no wonder they crucified him. I mean, here's this guy, claiming to be the Messiah which the Jews thought would be a great and powerful political leader but instead this guy turns up saying he is the Messiah and is a spiritual leader and is not there to free the Jews from Roman rule but to deliver them to this 'kingdom of God' who they had no Idea whether it existed or not. Jesus's interpretation of the word 'Messiah' was completely Different to the Jewish interpretation. He was crucified because he was annoying, quite similar to Socrates, You'd think he would have learnt
