    even if they did "steal the code for win2k" what good will it do them? What's the lastest estimate of loc in windows? 140 million? 160 million? Who's going to be able to read through that?

    MS products are hardly the best in the world anyway. People buy them because they have MS on them in big letters - it doesn't matter even if they gain a technological advantage with it cos they won't have the brand.
