Eh, that was the plan - I think the four techie boards have a lot of overlap, though.

Yep, I'd say that people do check in fairly frequently. There's quite a number of white/black hats around here, IMHO.

I have a nice beige hat with brown, baby blue and white straps. It's wooly and warm, but it isn't black or white, can I still play?

I'd say this board has gotten quiet because the usual posts are about:
"New form of blah blah exploit found in some-unix-service-no-one-has-ever-heard-of"
It'd be interesting to see what posts would be like if the overall level was taken down from sys-admin to joe-bloggs windows user.

....but don't we all know the feeling of driving to town and suddenly realizing you still have your barn boots on....or reaching over to pick up carrots at the store and having alfalfa fall out of your hair.....
