I never realised they made a c55 before reading your post(or simply forgot they did). It appears to be a functional phone, with nothing remarkable about it, but should be sufficient for calling and texting. I don't know much about the reliability of the c55, so I won't comment on it. A quick search on expansys.ie shows its not available anymore (or they decieded not to sell it anymore?).

they've launched a new model now, the c65. you can get it as a speakeasy upgrade for €139 from:
