As an aside, is there any way to find which posts were given points and comments, besides searching through them all one by one? Does the wee green light change colour depending on the overall rep, or the one for the post it's attached to?

Well its not really like that...Its just you get a higher reputation depending on how many points you receive from other members. The higher you get then the more people would be likely to trust and respect you

You can go to your User CP and follow the links given in your reputation history.

Is there someone, somewhere who is able to find who gave or took reputation to/from a poster? Personally, I'd just like to know, but you never know, it may come to pass that a person or group of people would try to drag someone's name into the dirt. Which would be serious for, say, the For Sale boards...
