Considering there are so many places in this earth that are so over-populated, I find it ironic that scientist are looking for ways to make more babies. D'oh!

It should be noted here, that even though they have been able to fertilize a cell (without sperm) it has not (yet) been successfully implanted and accepted by a womb. Also once it is (supposedly) accepted by a womb and develops in an embryo we dont know if it will grow without any defects. So even though it sounds like a major breakthrough there's still a long way to go....

If they manage to cut men out of the equation, it will be the death of humanity.

Think about it. Can you imagine a planet run by nothing but women? Granted it wouldn't be as bad as a planet run solely by men, but all the same.

A lot of girls I know spend all their time around guys because girls can get *****y. A lot of guys I know (including me) like spending time around girls because sometimes you want to chat about something other than beer, football and tits.

If the only reason women can think up to keep men around is as sperm donors, there is something very wrong in their lives that needs addressing before they are allowed even think about children.

There's a bar in Killarney (can't remember the name of the place) with a common washroom. Took delight in noting that women are on average (at least in this bar) as bad as fellas for not bothering to wash their mits after a spell on the bowl. And chaps are pretty bad - maybe somewhere between 20% and 50% bother, depending on the queue for the sink.

This is one of the more pathetic arguments in the modern reverse-sexism movement. Women are no "better" than men. The fact that they haven't had an opportunity to make a fool of themselves in power doesn't mean that if an when they find themselves in power they won't make an fool of themselves.

Men in power have been on the whole, far more successful than their female counterparts. Look at women nation-leaders around the world, and name me a single significant success. There are huge screw-ups with regard to male leaders, but some unqualified successes too.

Or that most scientists tend to spend most of thier times tinkering in the lab away from sunlight, so they should really be inventing something to make women more attracted to scientists.
