Could anyone tell me how you would go about getting information on Irish creative writing competitions/courses (for young people) happening over the summer?

I know it's a bit late at this stage -- especially for courses -- but I'm still curious.

Any information or book I get just patronizingly tells me to "Contact your local library", but there's nothing there!

Help appreciated.
