Hi, are there TV cards available for laptops or would they just be able to work in a pc? If they are PCI slots??? I'm not too familiar with the meanings etc.

Also, I have a HD housing unit that hooks up to laptop via usb, would it be ok to hook up an internal DVDRW to this or would it not work properly?
    thanks

    You can get USB ones.

I'd like to see you try :) I don't think its possible to fit a DVD-RW into a an external HDD case. They are completely different sizes.

If the DVDRW is IDE then it will fit in a 5.25" IDE/USB2 external enclosure. It won't fit in a 3.5 or 2.5 enclosure.

You can get USB2 TV box in/out that will work on a laptop. If your laptop has USB2 then you should get an enclosure and TV box that are USB2 as well.
