And I don't mean online (the online resources thread would be the best place to post those) I mean anywhere from your tesco as mentioned on the McDonald's thread to the corner shop for your jar of colman's to local deli's or specialist shops or foreign places or the mad old lady down the road who makes a mad concoction involving cranberries, horseradish and mustard seeds that makes smoke come out of your ears :)

Superquinn, for all your mustard needs

not only do they supply tasty Dijon Mustard, but also Dijon Mayonnaise, which is much better than that Hellmans crap, but that's a whole other thread....

There is a thread about dijon mayonnaise ... (or at least, mayonnaise with dijon mustard). Would be curious to have your input.

I randomly select jars from supermarket shelves. I'm a mustard whore and like to try new varieties ;)

Superquinn is one of the best places alright, also a few of the country market yokies that they have around the place like Temple Bar in meeting house square and Lucan have a nice one too... not sure of the dates that one is on though.

From that guy who sells strawberries at the side of the road.

    Supermarket.

I generally buy the bigger jars, saves in the long run.
Don't have to rember to buy it as often, releasing brain time to do other important tasks like selecting the right cheese, cold meat selection, crackers and croutons.
Also having a big jar also nicely averts that horror of horrors....putting together the makings of a big sandwich, reaching for the jar and finding you've none left.

I bought a huge plastic jar of ready to use Colemans English Mustard (not the powder) at Barrys cash and carry Mallow last year. I think it will probably last about 8-9 years judging by how much we have used so far.

    For those interested...

I've just been to Hunger's Mother (an Italian coffee shop/deli) on Fenian Street, D2 & see that they have a fine collection of mustards on sale, such as:

    Orange Mustard
    Wild Garlic Mustard
    Chilli Mustard
    Cassis Mustard

I buy mine in tesco and its usually yellow but sometimes its not and i mix it with mayonaise and it makes musternaise and its yummy! I suggest that we request there be a custom made mustard shop which only sells mustard to dedicated mustard fans like me! I really do love mustard like you know in those hot dogs that have mustard, thats really yummy and tastes soooooo sweet! and like I'd marry mustard if i could but i can't for obvious reasons but yeah i'm thinking of making a mustard shop.. k!
