When webpage is clicked all songs play straight away

Hi,
I'm creating a website in Dreamweaver and I have a page with song clips on it. I used plugins and ActiveX to get these clips up and running but when I test it out on the net, all the songs play at the same time the minute u enter the page...
Pls help me... I think I'm gonna crack!!!!!!!!!

What plugins?

Is there some special reason why you couldn't have linked to the song clips as files? What's the page trying to do?

Sorry, I thought I was making sense, I'm new to this craic.
What I did was inserted a "plugin" on the page from the media menu in dreamweaver and tried the activeX aswell.I embedded them with the chosen songs and they're working perfectly it's just that the all play straight away.

Instead of them automatically on play and all playing at the same time. I want them all to be automatically on stop and the user can choose to play them or not when he/she clicks on that webpage. I hope I'm explaining myself correctly. :dunno:

i havent done it in dreamweaver but from what i remember when you embedd a music file, your telling the browser to play it straight away. from what your saying i think you want a playlist maybe? like when you click the page one song plays and when that finishes another starts etc? am i right?

if so you could maybe re-record them all into one file that plays each song in turn.

if you want the user to pick whether the song plays or not it should be easily done with javascript. just make a button with the condition that if it is pushed all sounds stop.

this is better suited in webmaster forum btw.
