would have to say I'm a fan, been following it for years, dunno about trekkie though, probably knowledgable about, but wouldn't be of the inclination to dress up etc.

bit too PC nowadays though.

yep, all 5 types(animated to voyager) are practicly on every second hour here in canada

star trek is shown 337 times a week across about 80 stations

I would never dress up in trek clothes tho...

OK lets have a go at this :

Star trek the original series : really great ,still able to watch those old re runs andwith the old "wonder what happens next" feeling.

Star Trek The next generation : the best quality of originality in the 3 new shows.

Star Trek Deep space Nine : By far my favourite but thats just cos i really loved the War's

Star Trek Voyager : Started off badish enough but now the plots, standards of acting and the inclusion of 7 of 9 hasve made it one seriously good show.

Best Film : Star Trek First Contact
Best Game : The CCG, never played any of the computer ones

Best Book : Either Q Squared or the Invasion 4-some

Best Character : The Trible that was on Quarks head.

I used to collect st merchadise but I havnt in a while, I wouldnt dress up for no reason, but if there was a convention on.. I dunno.. maybe I would go buy a nice trek uniform

ds9is over and voyager only has like 6 episodes left in ireland and then NO MORE!!

The new series is based a little bit after the movie First contact and before Kirks enterprise.

The captain is basically a kirk clone, adventure boy, flaunts rules when he thinks hes right etc...

First officer is a female vulcan who thinks humans are mad un advanced ppls.

Half the crew have never seen an alien and are just getting used to the whole other races thing.

There'll probly be plenty of 'Warp factor 2!' and "2? are youh mahd capten, she canna handle wahrp faectoour toooo"

I cant wait
