Black Comedians ... just not funny

In all fairness, Eddie Murphy Delerious was the funniest **** I ever saw. (Although the followup Raw did show him somewhat starved for good material)
Eddie Murphy to me, of course is a little bit more than a sellout, in Delerious (yes I don't know how to spell the word- sue me) he really was @ his best.

Even if nunna y'awl don't get the huumah I got's ta tell ya his impressionZ was Da Bomb, yo word is bond...opps I mean sorry...but that was just absolutly hilarious no matter where yer from or what colour- unless you got A, no sense of humour, or B, are a total racist and/or person who can't stand to hear mudda****er repeated more than once.

Eddie Murphy bits that made me double over breathless, tears in my eyes:
1. The James Brown bit- "What the **** is James tawkin' bout?" "I dunno we're gettin' paid keep singin'- YEAH!"
2. His dad/aunt bunny routine.
3. the "you've got no ice-cream" bit.
4. his lighthearted take on homosexuality and STD's- trying saying that kinda thing now
5. his impressions of arabs (no hakkin' on my bread)
6. His Los Vegas Elvis walk...omfg grinning here just thinking about it.

As for Richard Prior?
Yeah coked up maniac Richard Prior all the way.

Chris Tucker no matter where he is or what he's in just makes me laugh.
He's just a naturally funny guy.

There are hundreds of Coloured comedians. In London at the Hackney Empire they have a coloured comedians show every week, and its always packed. True they may have different types of cultural jokes from than us that we do not easily comprehend, but hey - whats wrong with that ?...

Try a Google search for Coloured comedians.That could prove interesting.

Hey smartass. The term Black was used earlier in this thread. I am using the correct term i.e. Coloured instead of Black as it is not deemed as racist.

I have an education, a life and many black freinds. Coloured is a word I havent heard in my lifetime except here in this country. Yes I am a real yank. What box are you going to pigeon hole me into now?

Try buying an English language dictionary. Not the American spelling version, obviously. I recommend the Oxford version.

'Coloured' hasn't been P.C. for a long time. Black is the correct term now.

The people of a darker skin pigmentation than me. That I personally know, prefer the term "coloured" too "black".

chris rock is hilarious. as is early eddie murphy, bernie mac and richard prior.

a few years ago i was channel hopping late at night and discovered a chris rock stand up concert. my brother (biological, not ghetto-stylee) and i laughed our asses off! i didnt find the show racist, as he didnt focus all that much on black 'in-jokes', just ripped the piss completely.
raw was good too, but im thinkin i need to get a copy of delirious if its as good as every1 says.

Richard Pryor always made me laugh.

I remember an episode of King Of The Hill where Bobby (fat white kid) told jokes at a mainly black comedy club such as...

"I'm so white, during the riots I went out and bought a television!"

It is true, I can't think of any white comics getting away with racial jokes (not of the Bernard Mannind low standard anyway)

A while back it was 'politically correct' to use the term 'coloured', but now most people use 'black', and I don't think black people are offended by that

For me, only one out of the three best American stand-ups ever, was white - that being Bill Hicks. The other two being Richard Pryor and Chris Rock. Maybe this means Black Americans are twice as funny as White Americans?

Wells maybe you just don't get it. Like tbh I couldn't understand some of the "humor" found in the television shows in and around your country. But I think They are funny, majority of them. Some are just suck like other comedians. Theres this one chan that has loads of them and you just pass out from laughing so hard imo. that are you dont know what the **** they are talking about to get it.
