Hmmm, never thought about that, i do know that i want a live band playing "another one bites the dust" at my funeral though

really i do, it'll catch people by surprise, and no one will be able to think of my funeral without laughing.....its how i'd like to be remembered

Sue pollard had a hit in the 80s with a song called Starting together which was also the theme to a BBC documentary about getting hitched. Don't know if you could dance to it but it has the right sentiment for the big day. Curtis stigers all that matters to me is another possibility althought mostly they used to play a waltz for the bride and grooms first dance.

I know 1 guy who for the last 10+ years has said he will have the imperial march as his first song at his wedding - Hes been so obsesed with the idia i would say he will do it.

Personley i dont have no wedding plans. First thing that came into my head was "flower of carnage" and "bang bang" - both songs from Kill Bill volume1

The 'first dance' song offers an unparalleled opportunity to make a complete tit of yourself.

I was at one last year and they had "Lady in Red" which was just the ultimate in cheeeeeeeeeze
I still cringe when I think about it.

The theme tune to Benny Hill I think.

We had "How do I live" by LeAnn Rimes for our first dance. It was her choice and it was quite perfect for the moment.

We had considered "Happy to Be Stuck with You" by Huey Lewis and The News...

A not-too-distant cousin of mine, had Metallica's "Aint My Bitch" played at his wedding I think they're still married. As for myself, havent really thought about it, maybe The Velvet Underground's "I'm Sticking With You" or The Animal's "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place"

As for the soundtrack to a funeral. There was a thread relating to that a while back. (Well...kind of relating to it!)
