    Is there anywhere in dublin you can get a good (i'd be willing to settle for average) bowl of phô? I tried making a few variations at home, but it's just not the same .. :(

    Sorry, wish I could help...

    but I hear what you are saying about attempting to make it at home and it not being the same.

    myself & the better half lived on the simple yet addictive pho noodle soups when traveling around S.E.A -- fantastic for lunch and dirt cheap. mmm... tasty

    I'll have a look around town, there must be some place that makes them

    Big bowls of pho with sriracha, bean sprout, mint....yum.

    let's not forget the thin strips of beef, beef balls perhaps, spicy red sauce (whatever its called), and hoisin sauce too :)
