    This from Waterford Today
From the first week in February the new charges by Waterford City Council are expected to be in force. The charge for the grey bin will be £4.50, while the charge for the green and brown bins will be £1.50.

Householders will also be able to purchase tags for the £80 once off charge for the wheelie bin service. Alternatively, you can purchase the tags in two tranches of £40 each.

The new tags will be printed up and in the shops for collection in the first week of February according to a City Council spokesperson.

Now its not often the price of something like this comes down so I wont complain but I'd like to know how the loss of income for the City council will be met.

    Mike.

That's excellent... as long as there isn't some hidden charge that we'll get hit with.
