Was just reading some non Irish newspapers (sorry, not in english) this morning all saying the contest was rigged.
According to the journalist Mr. De Burg has some "powerfull" friends in high places and it is said that the irish news journalist was told 4 hours in advance who would win.....would be rather interesting if that is really true, now that would make for some real news headlines and probably mean the end of this "competition" :cool:

I think that the New Miss World is Fabulous and you c*nts should be proud that someone in our little island has WON such a world wide competition regardless of who her parents are!

Be proud of your nationality and of Rosanna. She did a great job and deserves her Crown! Now Stop b1tching about her and the rest of her family!

Who here can say they've done something better in their lives???????

fair play and all that but there is something about the way she look s in all those photos...to barbie like or something. thats it! she looks too plastic. wouldnt kick her out of me bed if i found her in it or anything but i dunno, as far as beauty goes, not my cup of tea.
maybe she's more "natural" looking in real life..?

wonder how long she'll stick with her Ag Science bf...at least he'll always have the claim to have shagged a miss world winner. fair play in fairness!

i bet if anyone of you saw her out in a niteclub some weekend you'd be picking your jaws off the floor!

The girl is beautiful and I'd love to see her in real life! I reckon she'd blow me away!

That's what I was thinking about - she'll have a horrible time in Dublin unless she goes to those posh stuck-up clubs. Could you imagine the drunken gobsheens completely pissing her off in ****holes like Fireworks or Coyote for example?

If/when she goes back to college, she won't be able to enjoy a few evening drinks in the UCD bar either....

The Sunday Tribune columnist, Fiona Looney’s take on the event was comic to say the least – “In the process [of winning Miss World], not only has she interfered with the inner workings of the universe, but she’s given hope to Irish woman who were afraid to come out of the water. It’s official - the best-looking bird on any beach anywhere is Irish. My God, what fresh madness is this?”

Looney goes on to state that a possible reason to why an Irish person could have won could be a result of the fact the winner’s father is not Irish.

Its a brilliant opertunity for her and If i was a girl I'd be jealous of her but i'm a guy so i just wanna do stuff to her

Thats what I was thinking, gotta feel sorry for the guy at the moment. Mind you, hes probably used to it seeing how beautiful she is.
