Sad to see Finn's departure from Judgement Day still going post Mania.

It does nothing for any of them to have it going along.

Mania should have been the blow off for the feud. He needs to be either challenging for the IC title or pushing for higher up the roster. He just always seems lost in the shuffle.

Not the worst but not the best Raw this week

Enjoyed the main event segment, the next match between Roman and Jacob Fatu needs to be an all out bloodbath

Way to bury a tag team that was just asking about getting a title shot.

So is Oba going to do that every week, Lance Archer style?

    So Brock is not retired

Convenient timing with a Saudi PLE just around the corner

I'm still watching the feeds om satellite in real time

    A rare European Brock Apperernce

Wonder is it due to low ticket sales or something

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,589 ✭✭✭Rocket_GD

I’d say Brock just wants another few paydays. He knows his career is at the end so is going to milk every $ out of TKO, who seem happy to give it to him.

so was the retirement at Mania all a work? or was he convinced to run it back over again?? im sure they dangled a few more bags of Saudi cash at him..

The way he left it at Mania was perfect. The feud / buildup was excellant ( for a change).. He got over Oba huge in the weeks leading up to the fight and the match itself was perfect in establishing Oba as a main event star..

It was a fitting way to leave.. maybe he wants to go out with another bang at Summerslam in Minnesota, where he is from?!

That whole opening reminds me why I rarely watch live, even when it's on at a reasonable time. Could've got through the first half hour in less than 10 mins.

Was funny trying to have such a serious scene while Jacob is kneeling by a Drumsticks logo.

Apparently wwe shared an updated brackets for the KOTR tournament with Sami/Drew replacing Ricky/Talla Tonga but reverted back to the original

During one of the ad break promos, they confirmed Finn has been traded to smackdown. No word on who he was traded for. Maybe Jacob?

Those KOTR/QOTR qualifying matches some way to pass a few weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,332 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

MITB qualifiers then to pad out another few weeks with the same faces.

    French crowd on fire

Good match here between Rey and Penta

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,595 ✭✭✭ThePott

Pretty decent Raw in general I thought, aside from Liv winning.

Sol/Lyra was pretty good. The Penta/Rey match was too and the Gable run-in was class. Loved the Oba/Dom promo too, whatever about the Brock loss, Oba is still crazy over. Was a pleasant surprise to see Je'Von win too and thought Talla Tonga and Ricky looked a lot better in this match than their previous outings.

Overall outside of Liv winning (don't even like her being in the tournament) this was a pretty good show helped by an awesome crowd.

I hate how if start watching late Netflix drops you into the show instead of starting at the start.

I forgot it was on early so when I turned it on it was at the part with the unmasking.

Brock is going to cost Oba in the King of the Ring final against Jey Uso and we're gonna get Jey Uso as King of the Ring aren't we.

    Ewww.

I was only thinking that this morning, they've completely painted themselves into a corner with who wins.

Oba - too much Brock baggage

    Je'Von - too soon

    Jey - ………..

    Jey - Yeet!

So how great of an idea was it to call Joe Hednry up? He appeared, did a song, then gets buried under the Vision/Seth/Street Profits feud, never to be seen again.

I'm confused by the Bloodline. Are they heels, faces, tweeners or just depends on the member/day of the week?

I think they will give it to J’Von and have him and Oba have a run back on one for their NXT matches where J’Von bumped like a good thing off Oba then Brock gets involved costing Oba.

    Early start again today. 7pm.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,176 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

As little as 3/4 years back London TV tapings we're biggish deal but TKO with the pricing among other things the spark is gone

SD tomorrow night is starting early and showing the England vs Ghana World Cup match on the WWE big screens after

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 591 ✭✭✭Petermc83

How terrible was Jey Uso`s promo on Oba Femi last night.. he blew up during his entrance, was out of breath and wouldnt let the crowd Yeet when they were suppose to.

To have him as a realistic challenger to Oba is laughable.. considering the run Oba is on.

He has had his run as a RR winner and then his glory in winning at Mania.. but creative need to let new talent have the spotlight now..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,176 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Oba deserves to win it but brock could cost him at NOC

Oba winning with Brock costing him the title at summerslam N1 the better option with N2 Brock vs Oba

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 591 ✭✭✭Petermc83

seeing Chad Gable trying to look enthusiastic and forcing the fans to join in with this crap theme tune was another low point.

    Its so generic..

his promo was excellant and he deserves a huge push but come on..at least give him a decent theme song.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,176 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

King Oba decides to postpone his title opportunity in favor of facing Brock in a hell in a cell match

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 591 ✭✭✭Petermc83

Brock loses and retires in his hometown?

Oba wins in Night 1.. and cashes in on the title in Night 2.. That would be some weekend!!

They couldn’t have him wrestle the night after a HIAC match, they’ve just about recovered it as being the ultimate match stipulation after the debacle of Seth vs The Fiend.

He said he wanted Roman anyway and now we have his match with Seth already lined up.

Looks like The Vision are done, no Bron, Logan out injured, Theory being jobbed to Hendry and Heyman back with Brock.
