    Hi,

Iv an old countax D18-50 Diesel ride on mower. Fresh machine. Think its 2006.

But slow to start (turns slow and sluggish even though starter new), power is not as it should (especially when mowing), and also , when first started after the winter, it seems the coolant had leaked , and ended up spurting out the exhaust
    pipe!

Is this the head-gasket that’s gone? Is there much in fixing it? Im handy enough with the tools, but never did a head-gasket  -is it manageable?

i'd say put it into the gardening forum, theres a user on there called Deezell i think, what they don't know about fixing lawnmowers isn't worth knowing, great for advice

Does the coolant look like there's diesel mixed through it? Like an colourful texture in it. Could be the injector or injector pump that need an overhaul if it's sluggish

First place I'd look is the water pump and the gasket between it and the block.

Wake me up when it's all over.
