It would depend on if they are set up to charge at the checkout or are relying on the courier to charge it. I looked it up online to see and something's stood out.

For example, a package from Asia contains a pen, a notebook and a key ring purchased online. As the package contains three distinct items, each will have a €3 Customs Duty charge, so there will be €9 Customs Duty, plus Value-Added Tax (VAT) due.

If the package contained two identical pens, these are considered one item and there will be a €3 Customs Duty charge, plus VAT, due.

Would it be looked at 5 x Jerseys or 2x Liverpool 2x Man Utd 1x Ireland?

Charged at checkout: Some websites will be set up to collect the duty at the point of sale. In this case, the €3 duty will be shown to you and will indicate that the total price you pay at checkout will be the final price, with no extra charges on delivery.
Charged on delivery: Other websites may not collect the duty at checkout. If this is the case, the delivery company (for example, your postal service or courier) will require you to pay the €3 duty per item before your goods can be delivered.

An Post will charge you a €6.95 admin fee per package if it is charged on delivery.

My young lad is almost border line 28 in the kids kits and for some reason shoot and Sandy don’t go above that for kids despite them being available from the factories but anyway he has a small adults and it’s very baggy so I’m debating a small player version

Anyone else have this issue ?

Any shops for xs (4 or 5 year old age) kids NBA jersey? Used Shoot before for football for that age but can't see anything that size for basketball. (Also checked sandy but seems 8+)

Is it just me or they quite slow with the Liverpool kits this season. Could understand it last year with the delay in the Adidas deal. Sandy only have home for kids and adults. Shoot only have the home for kids but have the adult Thai of all three. Was hoping to get ahead of this EU thing as it seems that might ruin this if trhey are opening packages to see how many items are in them.

it’s not just Liverpool, Arsenal kits are slow to be listed this year they normally have adults and kids 3 options before actual release but not this year, I ordered from shoot on the 2nd and emailed on the 12th as I hadn’t had an update and they then apologised and I received a tracking but it’s just a purchased label and nothing has been sent yet

Strange. Shoot moved LFC stuff to a whole new website too, not available on the usual one.

The €3 per item in the package for non EU parcels gonna make ordering interesting from July.

How long are shoot parcels taking at the moment? I’m going on holiday soon and trying to time my order so it doesn’t arrive when I’m away.

I ordered on the 2nd shipping on the 10th but only after I emailed to see what was happening, it’s normally much quicker

ordered the villa final jersey from https://www.bestballcustomizelin.com during the actual final and added two random jerseys for $9 each - got Hamburg and Karlsruhe. Decent quality all round. adidas logos are a thick rubbery type.

shipping was a bit delayed as the villa one was pre-order sale so total four weeks roughly.

@tonytiger81 inout an order in with them as they have a few bits I can’t see anywhere else, young lad was mad for an Arsenal shirt with champions written in gold on the back €135 from the Arsenal shop is pushing the limit a small bit lol

Are they up there quality wise with shoot and Sandy ?

i would think so. i've tried a good few of the sites purely out of interest and i'm happy enough with the three that i've got. i'd order off them again.

Only found this thread and looking for a couple of jerseys. Normally use Soccer03 ( or what ever they change it to occasionally)

Can someone please post links to sandy, shoot etc?

    cheers

Didn't order the champions on the back but did order one each of the new jerseys and home ones for the kids off Sandy. Shipped 7th June so we will see what they're like when they arrive

I have the regular shirts coming from shoot and they are always spot on much like Sandy, I’m always apprehensive with a new site

Is it likely to apply at the point of ordering though or the point of shipping, in which case the window may have passed? (my real motivation is whether it's worth trying to sneak the new LFC jersey in now, or wait till closer the start of the season, when the design will definitely be accurate but will be subject to the levy)

I ordered Saturday from Shoot, waiting on a whatsapp so i'll ask then. I'll report back if I hear anything.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,720 ✭✭✭✭OmegaGene

there’s no levy being added at the checkout with shoot at the moment and from July 1st the levy will apply that’s why I rushed mine through to try and avoid customs opening anything to add on a levy

Will the levy be applied at checkout or will An Post not just add on the 3 euro and their handling fee of 6.99 when the package arrives in the country? I can't imagine sites like Shoot or Sandy adding on this levy at source. Maybe I'm wrong though.
