Can anyone who has interviewed for this comp tell me how long it took for them to get their results? Thanks

@kaymar They told me I’d get the results in a week or 2 but I found out 3 days after interview. Very fast.

Has anyone in Clare heard anything yet?

I'm top 3 in Sligo and had my interview last week, just waiting for the result email and then who knows how long it will be before the next steps.

Haven't heard anything back yet, passed interview weeks ago for Dublin.

Disappointed it is taking this long to even start the clearance process and knowing it will then take several more weeks for that process to conclude before being placed.

For anyone in Wexford…they have called OOM 1-8 so far. FYI

I'm between 1-5 OOM for Wexford but still waiting to be called for clearance and to know which department I got. Have you started clearance yet?

I emailed them about Leitrim they haven’t called anyone for interview. Good luck to you on your interview in Sligo.

Emailed PAS today. Limerick still at 13. Just under a month of no movement.

Is it common for movement to slow down during summer?

Yes but honestly the entire competition outside Dublin is moving slower than normal. I have been offered a CO role through internal competition last week, that took 9 months from passing interview to clearance, but it will be one less person on the OOM for the Midlands!

yes movement will slow down as so many more staff on AL etc

And yet t c o panels are also not moving to cover the shorter working year and summer months.

Don't forget all the secondments to the EU Presidency. There must be chronic understaffing at some places

I dont think its the fault of PAS, if departments arent requesting new staff to fill vacancies theres not much PAS can do. As someone mentioned the alarming thing is the lack of TCO movement in that competition.

That is it exactly, unless departments ask for staff public appointments can't do anything about it, but it seems like departments are not asking. You could understand the temporary panel, not moving if they were actually going to fill permanent positions, but the co panels are not moving outside of Dublin and the batches they are interviewing seem incredibly small compared to ther years.

Unless, they are actively trying to downsize. I can't understand the logic of leaving departments understaffed.
