I was at the Solar Ireland conference earlier today where the Minister Darragh O'Brien briefly mentioned a new seai grant for home battery installations is in the works.

I'd imagine we'll know more when the next budget is announced.

A question on pylontech batteries :

I currently have three pylontech 2.4kwh batteries and will be adding another three shortly.

Do I need different cables when adding this extra load, or will the standard cabling provided be enough?

It was very easy adding two a few years to the one I originally had.

The same question if I then increased to 8 batteries.

    Thanks!
