He put the ball on the ground instead of handing it back. No shafting anyone

But if the meath man got a red last night then Murphy should get it today

He's had a good game the ref but that's absolutely shocking

Fair play to our team today. Didn’t see this performance in them. Think we’ve missed our chance but a lot to build on this.

Murphy avoiding the red but 2 of our lads get black cards as well

Wides from shots within the D have killed us unfortunately.

Really happy with the improved performance though. Is it down to Ger being back in camp?

We will never know how much that ger Ban cost us

Con hammer gone again. Very unfortunate with it

2 free points because of a stupid breach by Dublin...

This will possibly be the most demoralising defeat since mayo in 2006 if we can’t push through

If it is he a genius. Suddenly there is fight , energy and aggression in the team. Out muscling Donegal something I thought I wouldn’t be saying .

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

    Congrats from Kerry.

    Great performance by Dublin.

    Red haired sub was brilliant.

Great win. Pity if Con has done his hammy, especially given it happened in ET that was down to a dubious Ref call. The Ref had a great game overall but that was a massive call.

Great to see confidence in the lads that came from the bench, which was a plus side of the ET.

An example of some truly shocking posts over the past week, all the puppets looking for this,to be played in 'the nell' are right idiots now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,247 ✭✭✭MFPM

Unreal result...whatever else happens, this season.

Great and unexpected win. Another championship game now to blood the new lads and get them used to playing at this level.

I regard next year as Ger's first season and he will have learnt a lot from what he's seen from a distance.

Yeh , that’s prob the sweetest win since Kerry in 2011

Brilliantly stuff today. That's all you want to see, a bit of dog in the team. Some great scores, especially 2 pointers.

Sean Guidan, son of former Dublin forward Niall. Makes ya feel old when the son of a guy you played against comes on.

Can’t believe Dublin are in draw for next week. Even after winning I sort of had it in my head our season was over cause I’ve been so demoralised with our season.

Dublin showed great fight and superb ability to recover from some wasteful chances so a lot to build on. Whatever happens from here is bonus.

really tore into Donegal from half time When they had the wind, much the better side from there but the finishing was poor enough throughout. Should have had game won 5 or 6 times over, not giving the ref a chance to make a name for himself. How on earth it was 2 black cards each then when Murphy started the whole thing and Donegal players were not only 3rd man in, but 4th, 5th and 6th. All looking to make it a scrap. Was a great player in his day but there is much less great play and much more cheap shots every game now. Always the swinging arms in tackles and shoulders into back of players in air.

Great day for a lot of young defenders. Really did much better at the back.

Great win, delighted with that! Still a lot to work on mind you but let’s enjoy it for now

Great to see Dublin winning. Really looking forward to the draw tomorrow. Can't beat quarter final weekend in Croke Park. Four games over the space of 2 days.

Why are people outraged by the call to move the ball forward before half time. It's a silly rule, but the ref was just applying the rules, which is his main role on the day. It wasn't a dubious call.
