Kitchen table suppin a coffee.....3 chicks still in bed, gone are the days of them getting up early and bringing me breakfast in bed and then they eat it 🤣....now they are at the awkward teenager years and I get grunt off them if I'm lucky...I wish they were smallies again 😭😭😭

Off to Cork soon, out to the cemetery, first Father's day without my Dad and I'm feeling it 😔

Taking the fine weather as an opportunity to get some handwashing dried on the line. Aside from trips out to the washing line I'm staying firmly in doors. Anything more than a few minutes exposure I run the risk of turning into a giant freckle.

Makes two of us. Recently learned about Uthoff's Phenomenon, a side effect of MS, and I'm definitely NOT looking forward to Thursday 🥵

Having said that, it's actually not too bad here right now. The sun hasn't come around to the balcony yet, and there's a nice breeze up here. I'm taking advantage of this for as long as possible.

Surprisingly showery, overcast and very humid/muggy earlier on today. Getting a bit brighter now. Disappointing, as I was under the impression that each day this week would be better than the last until Thursday.

If tomorrow is dry and sunny, I'm hoping to head off to the beach. 🏖️

@thomil Cork cowboy hats. Do they punch cows there? Do they also wear those pointy cowboy boots too? Unless they are slipping their toe into a stirrup, not the best footwear for walking. Then again, pretty good for line dancing.

I've got a friend in Calgary, out on the Canadian part of the Great Plains. They got this huge festival every year to celebrate their own cowboy heritage, the Stampede. Cork on Saturday looked just like the pictures that I've seen from the Stampede.

Your headphones comment reminded me of a show. Was watching the PBS Telly last night in our little coastal Pacific university town. An episodic Brit show called Patience was on. Their main character, who’s name is Patience, wears headphones either on her ears or around her neck most times. She has extraordinary hearing, and when about noisemaking people, she uses them for quieting. Otherwise loud sounds bring her to tears.

Patience is also the show’s name. It’s in the who-done-it genre, with a special twist. Patience is an autistic genius, who has not only extraordinary hearing, but more importantly, she has superior pattern recognition, capable of making connections in crime analysis way sooner and above the detectives she helps. But also being autistic, she has difficulty in social and personal relationships, as well as being obsessive compulsive.
