We've almost all run onto the pitch after a big win at some point. Hurley a legend for standing up.

You don't see this every day! Cork footballers landing back in the people's republic of cork.

I'm on the verge of a site ban. Please don't rage bait me, I'm easily triggered especially late at night!

Someone on the PROC forum gave the lads 250 Euros to buy a round of pints for themselves as well. Fair play to that person anyway. Cork football struggles for love and adoration at times compared to the hurlers, but there's a special bond between this team and the diehard supporters like the ones who went up to Donegal yesterday.

As a neutral well done to Cork on a huge victory against the odds . The carry on of that Donegal steward was a stain on the good people of Donegal and he should receive a lengthy ban . Cork supporters had a ten hour round drive and don’t get many days in the sun and to be treated like that was scandalous!

I'd understand them trying to mind the pitch if there was 10k Cork fans trying to get on, not a few hundred.

I know I am going on about it, but its not right. Here is a video of it. The thug actually ends up shoving a fellow steward who tries to calm him down.

Exact opposite happened at Newbridge yesterday at half time. Full pitch invasion with kids etc for a kick around. Stewards not bothered. Kerry subs had to come off who were trying to warm up. Pitch cleared before the 2nd half started in a couple of minutes no problem. Never seen the likes of it but everyone was happy.

Cork v Tipp Camogie match is on youtube now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,096 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Ref is very poor. Very fussy. Penalised Cork for 3 overcarries when it looked marginal. Cork will have the wind in the second half though

    Tipp 0-11 Cork 0-11 HT

Some club returns gone back up on Ticketmaster today for both terraces and a few in the stand.

Fine win for the ladies, 3 points in iyt at the end. 2 wins from 2 should really be enough to reach the semis.

    Tipp 0-18 Cork 0-21 FT

2 wins away from home and Cork are virtually through to the semi final. Not fully but almost certain!

This game was ruined by the ref constantly giving frees. Corks forward line looked very dangerous throughout but Tipp really seemed to be flooding midfield. Hopefully Ashlng Thompson will be back soon in midfield for us. Manager says she could be back for Waterford next at home

We also didn't have Meadbh Cahalane, Clodagh Finn and Orla Mullins today. If they all come back we will be even stronger

    Laura Hayes was excellent today.

So the release of tickets continues, almost every day this week extra have gone up on ticketmaster. Combined with almost panic selling of those that over bought......there's certainly not a shortage this time round. How many rebels will turn up in Thurles on the day will be interesting. I presume we'll outnumber Offaly 5 to 1...

Tommy O’Connell and Tim O’Mahony are out for sunday but the good news is that Darragh Fitz and Robbie O’Flynn will be ok

Probably 30 to 35k. Weather will play a part too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,916 ✭✭✭JanuarySnowstor

Weather looks perfect, dry and calm with a good chance of sunshine breaking through.

Yes looking better now. Didn't look great on Monday and Tuesday. Plenty tickets available anyway.

No idea how Connolly stays on the starting 15.

Glad Hugh and Alan get a start in the forwards.

Great to see the captain tog out.

The frees could be keeping Connolly in the team.

He’s also likely to run riot in a game like this too. Not that it’ll help us of we play Limerick again.

Correct. He has had a serious amount of Grey performances in the last couple of years but a few crackers against 'lower' opposition. His free taking isn't That good in fairness. Could score 2-11 Sunday and be Undroppable but badly needs to be dropped in my opinion. Doesn't do enough in big games but seems to get a free pass way too often. His stats for finals is ridiculously poor for a player who gets as many minutes in them as he does.

Yeah club returns coming back. It's always a gamble but you can get some really good seats if you're lucky with what a clubs sent back. Only Killinan terrace left now so the other 3 sections appear to be sold out. Probably be around the 40k mark at this.

Minor football All Ireland semi final v Derry on TG4.ie - should be a cracker.

    11 v 2-03 at ht

Probably could have been further ahead. 11 scores to 5 though, we are well in it and the dis allowed goal wat a pity.

A goal could be the deciding score to create a lead that they can hold onto.

They are capable of more but are doing okay.

A very impressive win ! Into the final they go, in 2 weeks time v Tyrone.

    2-19 v 2-08

Fully deserved ! They play a real nice blend of football, use the kick pass well and have forwards that can score well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 36,027 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Well done to minors. They have lovely fast hands is what I like about them. Nice scores too. Fully deserved. Bit of hope for Cork.

Only saw the second half as I was out. Looking at the deferred coverge now!

Great performance. They seem to play without any fear and have a load of belief in their ability. Fantastic to see.

I see that the ladies footballers have been drawn aginst Dublin in the All-Ireland Senior Championship quarter-finals. Unfortunately they have home advantage

Ballincollig won the All-Ireland Féile Hurling Championship today. This is great sign for our underage hurling and for a blossoming area like Ballincollig!!
