    Thought it was just me. It’s so strange. Like two lads having the chats. Saying - if you talk about rugby one more time etc. No background knowledge of the players. V obvious they’re in a room in Dublin, can’t comment on stadium or crowd.

    They’ve probably said them all, also said they sound like dinosaurs.

    Hopefully this is the last time they’re ever on commentary together, it’s been a painful listen.

    Cunningham is unbearable and has been for many years.

    Don't know who the other guy is but he really needs to just shut his mouth for a while!

    Hugh Cahill, who usually isn’t bad at all.

    It was said earlier they’re watching in a room in Dublin with headsets on and just feel the need to fill every bit of silence. If they were in the stadium there’d be tonnes of noise around them that would break the silence when they’re not speaking.

    I’m not excusing them but the producers should be telling them to stop waffling.

    Same fella on again tonight. Sounds like someone had a word with him since last night….hes actually commentating tonight.


    I reckon last night he had zero prep work done, didn’t know the teams, and with the colours it was hard enough to see the numbers. Without numbers he couldn’t even say who had the ball, so he had the chats.

    it’s just one thing after another with RTEs World Cup coverage last week it was terrible commentary and tonight the commentators are literally on loud speaker.
