EO AGS Garda Vetting Timeframe

    Hi everyone,

    I’ve recently been offered a pre-employment position with An Garda Síochána as an EO, and I’m just wondering if anyone who recently started could share how long they waited for vetting to be fully completed.

    I’m currently around 15–16 weeks waiting, and to be honest it’s getting a bit frustrating. I completely understand these things take time, but I’d really appreciate hearing about other people’s experiences or timelines just to get a rough idea.

    I heard after that I emailed the Garda Vetting department that my Vetting has been complete. I called the Staffline, they told they are working on it. That's all. But basically I just waiting.
