Went to a local Gaa match this evening, I got roped into doing an umpire. Just after half time the heavens opened and it rained torrentially for the rest of the game. I got drowned wet. The water ran down my back like I was in a shower. I had to put a cover on the seat of the car and strip to my boxers to come home. Thankfully no checkpoint😃. Showered properly now, but man, what a disastrous evening weatherwise. Dark wet and miserable.

Heavy showers this evening. Mild and murky.

Wet murky morning here in north Longford. 16c but still just a rotten morning.

Rain has just arrived in N Kildare and looking at the radar, there is plenty more to come for the rest of the morning. The outlook for the next week looks good however, so all is not lost

    Mild enough, 16c currently

What a beautiful summers morning here in North Wexford.

A very wet morning in Limk City. 13.6mm already since midnight. Uncomfortably humid at 97%.

The ground is sodden after yesterday's heavy rain.

Not too far from you in Arklow and lashing rain - joke maybe?

Horrible morning. Wet, murky. Nearly 20mm rain since midnight. And yesterday's heat, still on for a, warm up but it'll be a rinse and repeat of May's three day wonder,it looks like befire all the heat is shunted east at the end of next week and the Atlantic moves in. Looks like High pressure isn't holding this summer. Brief interludes then normal Irish summer weather mostly. Hope we get a bit more than that.

It was a rotten wet morning here in north Longford. Its just brightened up now and looks like it might stay that way hopefully, though still plenty of cloud cover. We had a graduation of a grandson in creche this morning so at least it didnt spoil any work plans. Looking forward to the next few good days now. I looked in at my uncut meadows on the way home and the rain has flattened them.

After a wet start it has turned into a lovely summers day here. Roll on the weekend.

Very wet in my part of Meath since yesterday. Ground conditions have got very mucky in gaps and drinkers for the cattle.

some biblical rain at Dunshaughlin over the past few hours on and off, looks like it's starting to clear now, lots of surface water around and some minor flooding.

Biblical rain in Bray. If this convective train stays aligned with us it’ll ne a long wet evening! Croker might get away with it but the Aviva will probably stay under this along with Bray so Leinster fans might breath a sigh of relief but Metallica fans likely wont.

Awful crazy rain this morning. Had a local event in Meath. Wet. Wouldn't give in to the shorts though. So so humid for wearing raincoats. Then it stopped and the heat after 1245 could enjoy alfresco coffee after.

This evening in Rathoath for the young lads hurling the actual sun appeared and the air was more bearable when the sky cleared some what.

National Féile outlook in Carlow and Laois tomorrow looks good for all involved. Delighted for folk.

    Sunset looks lovely now.

    17⁰ Meath

Biblical rain is right, never seen the likes of it this afternoon.

We have just had the most amazing rainbow outside, camera didn't capture how amazing it looked, best just looking in awe at it like we all did.

The neighbours probably thought we were all mad outside jumping up and down🤣

It was actually a triple rainbow at one point!

Had a busy night in work so only got some quick phone shots below, the rainbow at Artane Castle and the tail end of the fiery sunset sky at the Wooden Bridge, Clontarf.

Was a beauty of an evening in Cork. From about 3.30 it was clear skies and a bit of heat.

In fact, the difference between the weekend forecast between Monday/Tuesday and now is incredible. Tomorrow was supposed to be a cloudy washout, now we can expect 20 degrees and sunshine (which means real feel will be much nicer in the sun). So glad it's turned around
