    I love Youtube Golf and many of the creators were on the course earlier in the week and it is brutally hard. Some of the slopes are hills!

    In saying that, there was a couple of hole in ones on the 11th so keep an eye on that hole for some fun.

    According to him, it’s Seems that one of Schefflers traits is beginning a tournament badly.. 🤔🤷‍♂️

    I doubt Scheffler would see it as a trait

    yup, they're very annoying, I'd say they're relying on a blooming US feed & they're taking their ad breaks in tandem with the bloody yanks….. painful…..

    yeah a poor pair of sloppy bogies to finish, sadly. Commentators curse by moi, I should have waited until he was finished before heralding his earlier -3 leading score…. Still as you say -1 for round 1 in the US Open is very respectable & he's right in the mix. Overall a very good opening from him imho….

    Very disappointing opening round for me. Course is far too easy. God forbid the players might give out if they set it up too hard 🥱

    Ya they were expecting 45 mph gusts I think, so presumably didn't want play suspended, but I'm still surprised how slow the greens were, too many balls spinning back for my liking, hopefully they dry out over the weekend

    I see Niemann has been given a two stroke penalty for throwing his club. Seems quite harsh to me. He'd already gotten a 9 on the hole which turned into an 11 with the penalty. Ouch

    I know Sky keep going on about how amazingly beautiful the course and surroundings are but I don't think it looks spectacular. Not compared to Irish courses.

    Maybe it's just not coming across on tv, but it looks really barren without any trees.
