    Fair play to Kingfishr.

Whatever some people on here make of them, that's a serious jump in venue size in a relatively short space of time.

Not every band gets the opportunity to take that kind of swing, and not every band could realistically fill it either.

Brian Fallon announcing shows today at 3 o clock our time. We pretty much get included in 50% of his tours so I'm hopeful.

I thought this also. But not sure they’d sell Belsonic and Malahide though.

Wasn’t overly impressed by the Kilmainham show so will probably give it a miss anyway.

Well this is ****... (from Highland Radio's facebook)

The 2027 Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon will not take place next year due to the collapse of Tickets.ie.

More than €283,000 in ticket sales revenue remains tied up due to the collapse of Tickets.ie.

Barry O’Neill Founder and chairperson of the Rory Gallagher International Festival confirmed the news on this morning’s Greg Hughes Show.

Although 2026 was the festival’s most successful year, the missing funds represent over 65% of its total revenue and have left organisers unable to pay around 30 local businesses.

Festival chairman Barry O’Neill described the situation as a major shock, as the committee had worked with the ticketing company for almost a decade.

The festival has joined other affected Irish events in High Court legal action to recover the money.

Wonder can do the songs justice at their ages.

Pity they had to cancel the last tour due to Covid.

What's the story with the various promoters now. I thought Singular Artists were ex Aiken but are they part of a large worldwide company. They should be boycotted if they are part of the same group as Tickets.ie as the stunt they have pulled to the small festivals is a disgrace.

Its getting more confusing on the promotion front with all the new and not so new ones.

I thought Foggy Notions was part of Aiken but he says now he is independent.

Then you have POD who seem to work a lot now with Aiken.

Also Selective memory on the go as well.

Saxon are always a solid ball of rock.

Yeah their recorded output obviously never reached the highs of others of the era(s) but they've stayed the course due to live performances people come back to.

singular artists is former aiken promoters who run the Irish subsidiary/branch promoters for DEAG/kilmanjiro live. DEAG is a massive European promoters and kilmanjiro is the uk company. They own a bunch of ticketing companies like gigantic and tickets .ie.

Foggy notions is another form aiken promoter but independent and not part of any massive entity.

POD and its festivals like ATN and forbidden fruit are owned by Aiken.

selective memory is owned by the former Electric picnic /POD Booker. They use to own beyond the pale but lost a few million, went insolvent and one of the investors -Fuel HQ took ownership when coming out of the insolvency/liquidation process. Fuel HQ own well festival and kaleidoscope. Selective memory promote own shows and book beyond the pale still.
