It's an essential accessory if you have a wok with a round base. You need to check the user manual for your hob, it's probably listed as a part you can buy. Once you get the part number, search for it on the web and if it's not available from the usual suspects, drop an e-mail to the local electrical stores and see if one of them can source it for you.
I have a Neff hob and Power City got the wok adapter for me, cost about €28 a few years ago. But when I tried to source some other accessory about a year ago, they referred me to the local distributor.
