    Hi.

Are there are any options available to somebody if they wan to hire a neuro physio after a stroke? Need a lot of help.

Two or three recommended, but don't know costs or anything else yet.

    Thanks.

The only help available yet is loss of earnings/living expenses payments such as Disability Allowance, Illness benefit or Invalidity pension depending on the persons circumstances. The government is in the process of considering a cost of disability payment but there is no information yet on how people will be assessed for this payment. The government do not yet have a budget for it and it is still in the early stages of consultation. Some are hopeful there will be some extent of a roll out for it in the budget in October but I can't see anything happening that quickly to be honest.
