hi looking at an electric recliner in ez living.
We have only ever had the manual recliners so have no experience with them. Are there issue with battery life etc or what do I need to be aware of?

I've never come across a battery-powered recliner. We have both electric and manual recliners and have had for years. Never had a problem with the either - I hear a lot of people claiming that the electric ones break after a period of time, but I believe it is down to abuse - kids sitting on the reclining section and operating it, running it up and down constantly, putting excessive weight on it while bringing it back up etc. - if they are treated properly they are reliable in my experience.
